Update: 7, JAN. 2010
g2009@Annual@Reporth - Business
-----I have been writing my annual summary of my business activities as well as my personal affairs to share to each business friend and personal friend since 1965------
As a business summary, we, ReGIS Inc., could not be an exception.
ReGIS got the strongest negative impact in ReGIS history for both ReGIS Consulting Division and The Open Group division , due to a decade long slow down of IT business growth in Japan as a base factor, accelerated by sudden burst of sub-prime financial value to American consumer business follower by Leman brotherfs failure and Japan business economic fall down.
2009 were the most drastic change Year both for USA. and Japan for the leaders of politics and business to take an initiative action plan to turn around the sustainability risking situation..
2009 was the year of that changes and plan for the recovery as in USA, ARRA ( American Recovery & Reinvestment Act) by Obama and Japan plan for gYuAI ( friendship & love) Plan by Hatoyama starting from Shiwake which is an openly broad casted cut action by audit team of Democrats of the budget which LDP planned before Democrat take over.
Obama succeeded the recover plan from Bush and made a reasonable shift and increased amount reasonably small but new ARRA included the drastic Investment plan for society restructuring strategy like health care and energy.
Japan case is much based rather weighed to give away money for more kids plan and free of high way fare but a very few programs to re invest systematic way for industry organic restructuring for the future like Smart grid and ITS in Obama Plan.
Major economic Tsunami which started from USA wall street attacked Japan to my long term top members and largest core consulting clients of IT, Automotive and Finance industry over 14 years for ReGIS and The Open Group 12 years.
ReGIS and The Open Group faced in 2009 the big challenges for survival. And made an aggressive restructuring and programs successful executed include as follows:
1) We organized ReGIS Forum 5 times and dedicated them for 3 on The Open Group starting g2009 kick offh, gdependability gand gArchitectureh

2010 Strategic Operation Plan -Jack Fujieda, ReGIS Inc.
2009 was a year of recovery plan and year 2010 is the year of gactionh.
(A) As ReGIS Inc.
In spite of my personal destructive affairs ,@sudden lost of my half century better half
in May and series of loss of my long term business partners and clients due to the worst economic situation ,even though I was trapped for a few weeks of desperate slump, total blanking ,no interest, no work, no nothing, I came back to myself and business as hard as ever like a start up of ReGIS 14 years ago.
I could have become crawling out of ditches of slump with my dear personal friends words and help.
I decided to work for not for myself but more for the society together with my members.
I already started to squeeze out all my power to recover the worst business situation by vitalizing the existing dormant members companies as well as to seek new project with governments and membership and re-strategize ReGIS company business direction much more tightly coupled operation. With The Open Group heading especially Architecture and dependability direction.
And, in October, we developed new NPO Corporation CRM Association trying to separate legal entity much independently from ReGIS operation and share my personal legal responsibility with new partner corporations.
We thus had to come back almost as hard working operation as were at my founding time of ReGIS Inc., as a venture company, to turn around the destructed situation to the standard position.
We will have more activity to help our members through much real project of consultation, educations rather than education of member executives at GIS FORUMs and e-letters and e-mail basis.
(B) The Open Group strategy;
We need to develop a few constructive and challenging programs in 2010 concentrating
